Easy Broth Soup

Description
Easy and tasty soup that is great on its' own or as a base for additional ingredients.
Ingredients
  • • 1 tablespoon butter
  • • ½ cup onion, diced
  • • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • • 1 cup celery, diced
  • • 6 cups of broth (any type)
  • • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • • ⅛ teaspoon ground thyme
  • • 1 teaspoon sea salt (adjust according to broth you are using)
  • • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • • Dash of cayenne pepper
  • • ½ of 8 oz package of Maifun rice noodles (optional)
Instructions
  • Melt butter in a sauce pan over medium-low heat
  • Add onions and garlic and sauté until tender, about 3-5 minutes
  • Add carrots and celery, sauté 1 minute
  • Add broth and spices to pan and bring to a boil
  • Reduce heat to simmer and add noodles
  • Cook a few more minutes until noodles are done
  • Serve
